Receptionist & Front of House Personnel

Great opportunity to develop a Career in hospitality, covering the front of house role across Reservations, Restaurant & Bar Service, Conferences, Events & Weddings.

Duties to involve - working within the Reception Team: greeting guests as they come in, managing the check-in and check-out process, answering questions and requests, administrative tasks using Reservation System, Function/Conference Bookings, Outlook and further computer programs.

Experience in a hospitality and/or receptionist position will be greatly favoured upon. Computer use will be involved, using programs such as Microsoft Office, Mainstay, EPOS, CMS. Telephone handling, taking reservations, advising guests and overall care for the Business.

Other duties will include, serving Guests in the Lounge Bar and Main Restaurant. Along with working Weddings, Functions and Conferences. Working with the front of house team to ensure Restaurant service runs smoothly.

The candidate must be trustworthy and able to work well with little direct supervision, maintain a positive attitude and friendly demeanor - The satisfaction and comfort of our Guests is a top priority and the Receptionist's attitude and behavior should reflect this at all times. Reception is the first thing Guests at the Hotel come across, and our staff must be well presented and provide a warm welcome - following a professional attitude and appearance.

Weekly rota done for 8 hour Reception Shifts 5 days out of 7. The ideal candidate will be flexible for shifts as these can be Monday - Sunday, majority evening shifts.

Usual reception pattern mainly consist of evening shifts which run from 3pm - 11pm/12pm on weekdays and 4pm-11/12pm weekends. Staff Meal is included during 8+ hour shift.

Early shifts consist of 7am-3pm across the week, and 8am-4pm on Weekends

Longer shifts on days with events such as Weddings ranging from an 8-12 hour day.Starting around mid day / early afternoon till late

Weekend evening shifts are non-negotiable - candidate must be willing to work weekends.

Rate of pay starting at £11.50 per hour, and once completed training prohibition period wage to increase from £12.00 per hour.

Salary: £11.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
